Cablevision's Commitment

Cablevision’s fight to defeat pancreatic cancer began in 1998 when the company helped establish The Lustgarten Foundation in honor of one of its executives, Marc Lustgarten, who passed away from this deadly disease at the age of 52. Cablevision underwrites the Foundation’s administrative expenses, so that 100% of every donation to the Foundation goes directly to pancreatic cancer research.

Cablevision and The Lustgarten Foundation are also partners in curePC, an award-winning public service campaign that uses Cablevision’s assets to raise awareness about the lethalness of pancreatic cancer and the Foundation’s efforts in the battle against this disease. Cablevision’s media and entertainment properties – which include everything from cable television systems to print publications and Web sites – span multiple platforms and reach millions of people a year, an impact that is instrumental to this important cause.
